What We Do

IMDGSEEK is an independent dangerous goods sea-freight reference for forwarders, shippers and maritime practitioners worldwide, with Chinese and English rule references and practical guides:

Reference information is free to access. Interactive tools retain the daily allowances displayed in the workbench. IMDGSEEK is not an official IMO website and does not replace cargo classification, transport assessment or carrier review.

Lookup of UN numbers, classes, packing groups and segregation requirements;
Quick reference for packing provisions, tank provisions and special provisions;
Multi-UN segregation assessment;
DG form assistance is in development and is not yet available.

Our Principles

Regulatory text is extracted, never drafted: all rule texts come from the IMDG Code itself, without rewriting or inference;
English prevails on conflict: the English edition is the authoritative text of the IMDG Code;
We do not decide for the customer: classification, carrier acceptance and destination requirements are given as a preliminary view with a prompt to re-confirm.
